Hi! I’m Aimee Hernandez. I’m a dreamer with a strong case of wanderlust in love with the perfectly imperfectly thing we call life. Not long ago, I was a project coordinator for a landscape architecture firm. I loved the creativity of designing beautiful spaces, but I was missing my two beautiful babies! I wanted to see every moment of their lives, capture every instant, every snapshot in time, and hold them close to my heart. Taking that passion and my knowledge of design, I became a documentary and portrait photographer. 

Most photographers specialize in weddings or newborn and family photography. I specialize in life moments – all of them! My clients invite me into their lives and trust me to capture memories for a lifetime. That’s a deep responsibility and one I don’t take lightly. It didn’t feel right to abandon them, photographically speaking, after the wedding. Ever the idealist, I threw industry wisdom aside and decided to follow couples through life’s stages, weaving a silver thread of memorable moments for them from engagement, to marriage, birth and family, and every adventure in between.
